Annual Review Process

We have outlined below the anticipated timetable for each cycle.

Spring Cycle

If we are interested in considering a grant renewal, we will email spring cycle grantees our combined evaluation and application form in January. The form will be due on a date in early to mid February specified in the email. Required Documents can be submitted with the completed evaluation and application form. If Required Documents (other than the project budget to actual results for the prior year) are not available when the form is due, they can be submitted by the end of February.

As soon as the completed evaluation and application form is received, we will arrange a due diligence visit or phone call between February and March.

Following the due diligence discussion and receipt of all Required Documents, the staff prepares a grant recommendation for our Board of Directors to consider at its semi-annual meeting. The meeting usually occurs in late April or May. Following the Board meeting, we contact each applicant and advise them of the Board’s decision. If the grant is approved, we generally send out the grant agreement within two weeks of the Board meeting and mail out the check, in late May or June, upon receipt of the signed agreement.

Fall Cycle

The fall cycle activities are the same as the spring cycle but they take place between July and September and end in November or December.
