Currently, the Foundation's
grant making priorities are: Education We
believe education provides people with the opportunity to expand their
talents and capabilities. Through our grantmaking, we hope to inspire them to
reach their full potential both as individuals, and as contributing citizens
of a greater community. We are especially interested in programs that make
quality education accessible to those who are personally committed. Our
education grants fall into three categories: ·

interest in public health is closely aligned with our Education priority. We believe that by investing in programs
that maintain, restore and improve people’s physical condition, we boost our
society’s overall productivity and allow individuals the opportunity to
improve their lives, and those of their fellow citizens. Our
public health grants fall into three categories: ·

Childhood Development o
Market-based
Solutions to Public Health Problems o
Nutrition
and Fitness o
Reproductive
Health Scientific Research We seek programs on the cutting edge of
learning in specialized areas of interest to our Directors that are
under-funded or not yet eligible for funding by governmental programs. These programs are typically sponsored by
top research institutions, which provide quality assurance oversight, and
accountability that may not be possible in a less structured
environment. Areas in which we currently
fund research are: ·

Medical Research – To date the Foundation has funded programs in
the following areas: o
Alzheimer's Disease o
Cancer o
Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS) o
Stroke The Directors and staff
are re-evaluating our goals and interests in the medical research focus
area. As a result, the Foundation
currently is not accepting grantseeker inquiries related to medical
